Saplings supplies a wide range of South African Pine products, including structural S5 timber, industrial and furniture grades, Pine mouldings and Grade 8 laminated beams. We also supply selected structural hardwoods, including Balau, Garapa and Keruing, to the wholesale and trade market.

Rough sawn timber has an unfinished surface, while sized timber is machined to more consistent dimensions. PAR (Planed All Round) timber is planed on all four sides to provide a smooth, uniform finish, making it suitable for joinery, furniture and other applications where appearance is important.

Yes, Saplings supplies SA Pine with various preservative treatment options, including CCA H2, CCA H3 and Vacsol Azure. CCA H3 is suitable for above-ground exterior applications such as decking and pergolas, while H2 is generally used for protected interior applications. Treatment options and stock availability vary by product, with certain treatments available on request.

Yes, we have in-house machining facilities and manufacture a range of SA Pine mouldings, including skirtings, tongue-and-groove flooring, ceiling boards, decking and fascias. We also supply PAR timber and specialised machined products for trade customers.

Yes, Saplings supplies SABS Grade 8 SA Pine laminated beams in a range of sizes and lengths up to 12 metres. Our laminated beams are supplied planed all round and Vacsol Azure treated, with custom sizes and timber species available on request.
